Not a Discharge Meeting
An audiobook of Chapter Five of Changing Destiny's Destiny.
After being stuck in The Bad Man's World for three weeks with no awareness of The Everydayy World around her. The IV Haldol finally catches up with Destiny and she wakes up to realize that the only tube on her face is her oxygen. The NJ tube is gone. Instead she has a tube coming out of her upper belly strapped to her leg and three IV lines coming out of her chest with a backpack strapped firmly to her back carrying her IV nutrition, IV fluids, and two IV pumps. Her GI tract is so shut down she can no longer even tolerate tube feedings. However her G-tube, to her glee, allows her to drink sugar-free non-carbonated clear liquids.
Destiny's mood is boosted and she is certain that her upcoming family meeting is a discharge meeting. After all the whole blow up with DCF and getting put on the waiting list for residential was a whole year ago, so when she walks into her meeting and sees how charged the room is she doesn't know what to make of it. She is shocked when they tell her that she is going to residential. She feels like her world is a snow globe shaken in the hands of a small child.
After the meeting she is sucked into The Bad Man's World and tries to literally run through the solid metal/wood double-locked doors of the psych unit, thinking if she believes enough that she can make it through she will. To find out what happens next you will have to purchase this audiobook chapter.
